  • Ali Momeni
    Design | Pedagogy
    Ali Momeni is a media-artist and researcher with expertise in interactive systems and human computer interaction. He studied physics and music at Swarthmore College and completed his doctoral degree in music composition, improvisation and performance with computers at UC Berkeley. Momeni is an Associate Professor at Carnegie Mellon University.
  • Aparna Wilder
    Operations | Development
    Aparna Wilder is a program director and community builder passionate about experiential learning and storytelling. Aparna leads IRL Labs outreach and education programs and is responsible for facilitating new partnerships, research projects, and workshops. Aparna holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a MPA from Columbia University.
  • Luke Anderson
    Technical Architect
    Luke is an application developer with interests in real-time interaction, media programming, web technologies, and software architecture. He oversees the development and integration of new features into IRL Lab’s platforms. In previous roles, he has contributed to the creation of web and mobile experiences for Fortune 50 companies.
  • Molly Bernsten
    Education | Outreach
    Molly loves working with students of all ages to help them design and build creative projects. In her role as Education and Outreach Coordinator, she facilitates workshops with students across Pittsburgh that focus on storytelling, technology, and virtual reality. She holds a degree in Biology from Carnegie Mellon University.

    Ben Scott is an VR Developer who has studied and researched Computer Science, Interaction Design, 3D Modeling, Game Design, and Interactive Storytelling, and is pursuing a self-defined undergraduate Degree in Virtual Reality from Carnegie Mellon University.

    Meriç Dağlı
    Meriç Dağlı is an interaction designer with a multi-faceted design background. After starting his career as an industrial designer in an early-stage mechatronics startup,he returned his alma mater and worked as a communication designer. Prior Carnegie Mellon where he studied interaction design, he also worked as a user researcher in an autonomy/technology-adoption focused industry project. His goal as a designer is to empower people by making technology more approachable and accessible.
